In June 2023, the Borough of Broxbourne Planning & Regulatory Committee resolved to grant permission for the outline planning applications for Brookfield Riverside, Brookfield Garden Village and Cheshunt Park Golf Course.

Since this time, the project teams have been working to address the outstanding technical matters which formed part of the committee resolution and finalising the Section 106 and planning conditions to facilitate the issue of the outline planning permissions ahead of moving into the detailed design phase.

The planning decision notice for amendments to Cheshunt Park Golf Course was issued on 27 November 2023.
